A new SOS feature has been added to Google search and Google Maps

Google’s search and map services point to terror, natural disasters, accidents and other crises.

SOS Alerts has been armed by Google, so it warns users of what crises they are facing in a given area (terrorist threat, natural disaster, accident, etc.) based on searches and / or current situations.

Map Services will indicate the type and location of the crisis, but it also provides information, including news, social media reports, authorities’ access and information, emergency phone numbers, translation of useful terms, and donation options in Google’s search. This is either when we look for a dangerous area or when we are near our GPS coordinates.

Although it does not work on the site (yet), but in the case of the forest fires in Croatia this year, many Hungarians would benefit from this service. Google naturally wants to extend this support to as many sites as possible, but for now, 12 countries (United States, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Mexico, Fiji, India, New Zealand, Brazil) are available.

If someone has a Google search engine on your mobile, you can get a warning notice on your mobile, indicating that there is a danger nearby.

Facebook is also working on a natural disaster map, but it does not mean direct assistance to the average user, but to aid organizations.
